Booking.com account locked – reset your password

Dear Zimply Simple,

We recently noticed some suspicious activity from an unknown external device attempting to access certain Booking.com accounts. As a precaution, we've temporarily locked your account, and we ask you to please reset your password.

To reset your password and continue using Booking.com securely, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Booking.com homepage
  • Click "Sign in" at the top of the homepage
  • Click the "Forgot your password?" link
  • Enter your email address and we'll send you a link to reset your password

If you use your password for other online services, we recommend that you reset the passwords for those accounts as a precaution.

Stay safe and increase the security of your account by adding Two-Factor Authentication. You can enable this from the Security tab in your account settings.

Because the security of your personal information is our top priority, we always recommend that our customers remember the following:

  • Booking.com will never ask you for your credit card details or personal information by phone or email. We collect and store all necessary information on our secure online system.
  • We'll never ask you to make a bank transfer outside of the terms and conditions outlined in your reservation policies.
  • We'll always email you from an official booking.com email address ending in "@booking.com," and the email will never link to a non-Booking.com or non-Villas.com website.
